摘要
When the streaming current of high-conductivity liquid was measured with a nozzle and receiving tank system, the polarity change of the receiving current was observed without changing the flow pattern. The distance of the receiving cup remarkably affects the streaming current, and the polarity of the current is reversed from positive to negative at a certain distance. From the relation between the distance where the polarity is reversed and the distance where the jet is split into a few droplets, it turned out that both distances are mutually dependent. To explain this interesting phenomenon, a simple charge diffuse model is proposed. © 1990 IEEE
