摘要
Furosemide was added to thiazides in 37 hospitalized patients with severe toxemia and in 16 outpatients with mild edema. Furosemide was the initial diuretic in 35 edematous outpatients. In the hospitalized patients a daily dose of 160 to 320 mg. of furosemide plus thiazides plus diazoxide (21 patients) produced complete clearing of edema, fall in arterial pressure to control levels, and decrease in or disappearance of albuminuria in all patients prior to delivery. The addition of 40 mg. of furosemide every second or third day to the thiazides in the 16 outpatients caused complete clearing of edema in all patients. The initial dose of 40 mg. of furosemide was followed by excessive diuresis in 4 of 35 patients who received furosemide as the initial diuretic. © 1969.
