摘要
The following phases are observed, as a function of increasing x values (x equals at. Ge/at. Ge plus at. As): a phase near x equals 0. 08, which is decomposed in the solid state at 356 degree C; a series of structurally related As//2Ge//nTe//3// plus //n phases, the first four of which have peritectic decompositions and the following ones (to about n equals 15) have decompositions in the solid state; a phase of probable composition As//2Ge//3//8Te//4//1, which is decomposed in the solid state at about 372 degree C; and a NaCl-type solid solution formed from the beta variety of GeTe which is only stable at high temperature.
