A STUDY OF BILAYER DEUTERIUM HYDRIDE ADSORBED ON GRAPHITE

摘要
A comprehensive thermodynamic study of a bilayer of HD adsorbed on graphite has been completed. Adsorption isotherm and adiabatic heat capacity measurements on different types of exfoliated graphite yield a phase diagram with a well defined solid-liquid-vapor triple point at 8.44K, and a liquid-vapor critical point at 11.45K, both intermediate between those of bilayer pure H2 and D2 on the same substrate.
