摘要
The primary transcription of individual mRNA species coded in vivo by influenza virus was studied after varying doses of ultraviolet radiation. The decline in synthesis of each messenger RNA showed single-hit kinetics and target sizes for the inhibition of each were derived. These values approximated the molecular weights of the individual genome segments indicating that each segment possessed its own promoter site for the transcription of its corresponding mRNA. © 1979.
