摘要
Presented are experimental results and theoretical analysis which show that a GaAs/AlAs vertical cavity, when optimized simultaneously for efficient confinement of fundamental field and for quasi-phase matching, could provide efficient second-harmonic generation (SHG) of blue light. It is shown that the conversion efficiency could be increased up to 14.3% W if optimized simultaneously for efficient confinement of fundamental field and for QPM.
