摘要
Knowledge of the HL-A system which apparently controls the principal transplantation antigens of man is rapidly accumulating. Six antigens of this system have now been given international designations, and two have been given tentative designations. This report describes two new HL-A specificities. One of the antigens, Tel2, is the fifth allele of the “L-A” sublocus and the other, Tel0, is the fifth allele at the second sublocus. These antigens were tested in 228 Caucasians and 89 Negroes and were more critically analyzed in Orientals among whom both of the antigens were more frequent than they were in Caucasians or Negroes. Twenty-two Japanese families with 91 children and 94 unrelated Orientals were studied. The allelic relationships at the two subloci were established by the correlation coefficients among the antigens, frequency of triplets of specificities, the goodness of fit comparisons, and the segregation in families. © 1969 by The Williams and Wilkins Co.
