INCREASED EFFICIENCY FOR THE SELECTIVE DETECTION AND MEASUREMENT OF CARBON-CARBON COUPLINGS

摘要
Two ID pulse sequences designed for the selective detection of carbon-carbon connectivities and the measurement of the corresponding coupling constants are presented. The sequences take advantage of the increased sensitivity and the higher accuracy obtained with multiselective excitation and ID detection, respectively. They are shown to be either an excellent tool for the identification and exact measurement especially of long range carbon-carbon couplings or a valuable alternative to the popular 2D INADEQUATE experiment when a part instead of the full connectivity matrix should be established and when the corresponding carbon resonances are well resolved. © 1993 by Academic Press, Inc.
