摘要
The RAM perturbation theory is evaluated in the case of the hard dumbbell fluid and compared with computer simulation results. The zeroth-order theory yields good agreement with the centres pair correlation function gooo (r) even up to large dumbbell sphere separations, thus showing that the basic idea of the theory is sound. Some possible reasons for the failure of a related perturbation theory are discussed. © 1979.
