摘要
Both ammonia and nitrate are available forms of nitrogen for uninfected roots of Eucalyptus obliqua. Glutamine and glutamate increase in quantity when ammonia is absorbed from solution. The effect of temperature on uptake of ammonia is complex. External sources of carbon skeletons do not stimulate the uptake of ammonia from solution. Uptake of ammonia is insensitive to the presence of DNP and KCN, although glycolysis is inhibited by these compounds. Copyright © 1969, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
