摘要：

In order to evaluate technological and environmental problems related to the utilisation of RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) in coal fired power plants, some preliminary experiments have been carried out on a 50 kWt furnace. The emissions from the combined combustion of coal with RDF have been characterized as classes of organic micropollutants such as Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH), Polychlorodibenzodioxins (PCDD), Polychlorodibenzofurans (PCDF), as well as the total organic material extractable by toluene. A combustion test using only coal has been performed too, under the same conditions, and the results obtained for each combustion test have been compared. © 1990.
