摘要
The effect of thermal annealing on the magnetic permeability and Mossbauer spectra of the metallic glass Fe78Si9B13 have been studied. Mossbauer spectroscopy provides information about the atomic level changes associated with structural relaxation. It is found that the topological rearrangements start taking place at a temperature lower than that needed for relaxation of internal stresses. The magnetic permeability is affected by both topological rearrangements as well as internal stresses in the specimen. However, internal stresses have a stronger influence on the magnetic permeability.
