摘要
The Gurney approach is used to obtain a relationship betweeen the speeds of multiple layers of metal deployed by high explosives. When used with equations describing shock interactions, the derived relationship will be useful in predicting the speeds of the various layers so that the approximate distribution of fragments can be determined analytically.
