摘要
A stress rig is constructed to make in situ neutron diffraction possible on tensile test specimens. The lattice spacing of the (110) reflection of a ferritic steel having nonuniform cross-section is measured both parallel and perpendicular to the applied stress. The apparent stresses are calculated.
