COMPARISON OF COORDINATE SYSTEMS FOR EDDY-CURRENT ANALYSIS IN MOVING CONDUCTORS

摘要
Two kinds of coordinate systems, namely the fixed and moving coordinate systems for the numerical analysis of eddy currents in moving conductors are compared with each other. It is shown that the moving coordinate system is superior to the fixed coordinate system for a transient analysis from the standpoints of accuracy, computer storage and CPU time.
