摘要
The copper catalyzed oxidation of antimonyl tartrate by peroxydisulfate has been studied in perchloric acid medium and the rate laws in the presence and absence of added tartrate ion determined. A chain mechanism has been suggested and the inhibiting action of Mn(II) and of allyl acetate has been explained by the termination of the chains. The rate of the completely inhibited reaction is comparable to that of the decomposition of the peroxydisulfate. © 1969.
