摘要
Model simulations for overtone excitations of OH demonstrate that the efficiency of infrared picosecond laser pulses with analytical (sin2) shapes is improved by chirping. However, we cannot achieve perfect selectivity for very high levels (e.g. v= 10). Our simulations demonstrate some virtues and limitations of the corresponding methods of Paramonov et al. and of Chelkowski, Bandrauk and Corkum.
