摘要
The relationship between the small strain modulus and the type and concentration of filler is discussed. It is shown that it is possible to represent the modulus-concentration relationship satisfactorily using two empirical equations each of which contain only one parameter; this parameter is determined by the efficiency of packing of the particles. One equation is applicable to nonporous fillers such as glass beads, while the other equation is applicable to porous particles such as the high structure carbon blacks. © 1979.
