摘要
The electrophysiological effects of psylocybin have been studied in baboons (Papio papio). 1. 1. The visual response has been studied by ERG and by lateral geniculate body and visual cortex evoked potentials. The primary visual cortex evoked potentials are the only ones to show significant constant and long lasting modifications. 2. 2. The effects on somaesthetic evoked potentials are weak, inconsistent and most often characterized by a slight decrease in amplitude. 3. 3. Psilocybin has no durable effect on the EEG. A specific activity of psilocybin on the visual primary cortex may be considered as the basis of hallucinatory phenomena induced in man by this drug. © 1969.
