摘要
A pulsed linac is used to produce electron-positron pairs in a tantalum target. Some of the thus produced fast positrons are then thermalised in a set of well annealed tungsten foils. These slow positrons are then injected into a magnetic transport system leading the slow positron beam to a preliminary experimental room, 23 m away from the converter. Some of the beam characteristics have been determined. © 1990.
