EXTENDED DUAL TRANSFORMATION INCLUDING QUANTUM VORTICES

摘要：

The full action integral of arbitrary vortex systems in abelian Higgs-like models is found using an extended dual transformation. It is complete and exact, being valid throughout the whole space-time domain that contains the vortices, including their cores. The interaction of the vortices is given in terms of two fields, the Kalb-Ramond anti-symmetric tensor field and a dilaton field. The present work confirms previous results.
