摘要：

The screening of the repulsive Coulomb interaction associated with anomalously charged states in the high temperature phase of VO2 effected through lattice polarization is investigated on the basis of a simple model, motivated by consideration of the VO2 crystal structure, and is found to be sufficient to allow the occurrence of the polar fluctuations necessary for the existence of a metallic state. © 1969 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
