摘要
SA 316 and high-strength high-conductivity Cu and Mo based alloys have been selected as structural materials for the first wall and divertor plates of NET, respectively. The effects of irradiation on their bulk properties and behaviour: tensile properties, low-cycle fatigue, fracture toughness, irradiation creep, stress corrosion cracking, H-embrittlement and microstructural stability are discussed in terms of the proposed NET operating conditions with a special emphasis on the possible effect of the neutron spectrum. Finally microstructural instabilities of the intermetallic compounds of the brazed joints due to recoil effects are mentioned.
