INFLUENCE OF HYDROGEN-BOND CONNECTIVITY ON THE DYNAMICAL PROPERTIES OF HYDROGEN-BONDED LIQUIDS

摘要
Spectroscopic studies of H-bonded liquids in bulk and in confined geometries are presented, The examples shown (water within reversed micelles, alcohols dispersed in an inert solvent and in the normal liquid phase) provide evidence that the dynamic properties (both diffusional and vibrational) are strongly affected by the presence of the H-bond, which induces cooperative changes in the time evolution of the correlation functions.
