摘要
The intent of this study is (i) to analyze the response of a rotating disc, clamped at the inside and free at the perimeter, subjected to excitation produced by stationary point loads and restrained by stationary point springs and (ii) to investigate the effect of spring stiffness, number of springs and spring location on the frequency speed characteristics of the rotating disc. The purpose of this work is to develop fundamental understanding of the dynamics of guided rotating discs and to apply this knowledge to the analysis and design of guided circular saws used in the sawmilling industry.
