A NOVEL METHOD OF PREPARATION OF LA2CUO4+DELTA SUPERCONDUCTING MATERIAL - THE ELECTROCHEMICAL OXIDATION

摘要
A new method of preparation, the electrochemical oxidation in alkaline medium of La2CuO4, is described; a superconducting material below 45 K has been obtained and its physical and chemical characteristics appear quite promising. The structural features of this new phase are discussed in terms of intercalation of oxygenated species. A Mossbauer resonance study on La2Cu1-x (FexO4)-Fe-57 (x = 0.02) has shown the evolution of the cationic environments before and after polarization.
