摘要
The authors derive asymptotic formulas for the energies of the strongly bound states of hydrogen for large magnetic fields. Rigorous lower bounds on the binding and also upper bounds are given based on generous estimates of the errors. Comparison with variational and other previous numerical results shows their tendency to underestimate the binding. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
