An investigation of the Meissner effect reduction on small particles of YBa2Cu3O7 prepared by a spray method indicates that the effective size of the superconducting domains is determined by the crystal twinning. From the twin dimensions obtained by X-ray spectra broadening, a value of λL(0)=1900±100 A is inferred. The temperature dependence of λL(T) is observed to deviate from BCS as the particle size decreases.
