Excess molar heat capacities and excess molar volumes of {x(1)CH(3)(CH2)(5)CH3 + x(2)CH(3)C(CH3)(2)CH2CH(CH3)CH3 + x(3)CH(3)C(CH3)(2)OC2H5 + (1-x(1)-x(2)-x(3))C2H5OH}(1) and of all the corresponding binary mixtures were determined using a Picker flow calorimeter and a vibrating-tube densimeter. The experimental quaternary results are compared with the values calculated from the binary results using Colinet's equation and an extended Kohler's equation.
