摘要
Analytical solutions are obtained for buckling of a thin-walled symmetrical angle section beam, loaded by a bending moment in the plane of symmetry. Instability can occur either by deformation of the section or by torsional buckling. Both possibilities are considered, and simple formulae are derived which can be used to predict the buckling load. © 1969.
