摘要：

Giardia canis infection is described. The possible pathogenetic mechanisms by which Giardia spp. produce a malabsorption syndrome are discussed. Evidence that both humoral and cellular immunity may play a role in the pathogenesis is reviewed. © 1979 British Small Animal Veterinary Association
