Specific deuteration at C-6 and C-19 of (5 E)-Vitamin-D3 derivatives from the α- and β-sulfonadducts (2+2′) of the corresponding (5 Z)-Vitamin-D3 derivatives (3a-d) is reported. © 1979 Springer-Verlag.
