The exchange current densities, i0, of different inserting stages of lithium ions into V6O13 intercalation compound have been studied in this work. It was found that for V6O13 (not annealed) the exchange current densities of different inserting stages are close and decrease seriously with charge/discharge cycling. For annealed V6O13 the values of different inserting stages are different. The reversibility of the first and fourth stages is better than that of the second and the third stages.
