摘要：

Eleven furocoumarins from A silvestris and H. sphondylium were tested for their antifeedant activity against 2 insect larvae: Mythimna unipuncta and the Colorado beetle Leptinotarsa decemlineata. Angular furocoumarins show a smaller effect than the corresponding linear homologs. The following order of activity is observed for substituents: .**GRAPHIC**. 4-Methoxybenzofuran, a synthetic analog, shows medium activity. The most active component is a sesquiterpene: the known bisabolangelone.
