摘要:
A new molybdenum(III) diphosphate has been isolated. The single crystal X-ray diffraction study of this phase has shown that it is isotypic with BaM2P4O14 (M = Ti(III) or V(III)). It crystallizes in the C2/c space group a = 10.8135(8), b = 10.6407(7) c = 9.8210(6) angstrom, beta = 103.629(7)-degrees. A new description of the structure is given, based on the existence of original units MoP4O16; the latters are formed of two bidentate P2O7 groups Connected to the same MoO6 octahedron. The [Mo2P4O14]infinity framework does not form tunnels as previously claimed, but large cages where barium cations are located.
