摘要
We suggest the hypothesis that the three cone photopigments in human retina follow Dartnall's rule, that is their action spectra curves are identical, apart a translation parallel to the abscissae axis, if this axis is scaled in frequencies. This hypothesis seems confirmed by experimental data, if it is supposed that these curves are more narrow that rhodopsine type spectra. It should prove that the prosthetic group of cone pigments is not retinal. © 1969 Dr. W. Junk N.V.
