摘要
The investigation of the dynamic behaviour of coupled reaction beds of thermally driven dry sorption machines with metal hydrides as working materials is of particular interest due to their cyclic working conditions. Development and optimization of such devices require highly sophisticated computational design methods. The developed mathematical model and numerical discretization method are described. Detailed computer simulations of the heat and mass transfer in and between coupled reaction beds show good agreement with experimental results.
