摘要
Alternating short and long Mo-Mo distances characterize 1, which can thus be formulated as a dimer of Mo = Mo systems. The degree of electronic communication between the Mo2 units depends on the bridging ligand. The separation of the two electrochemical oxidation steps in 1 (naphthpyridine ligand) of 373 mV is reduced to ca. 100 mV in the anthracenedicarboxylato complex.
