摘要
Polar metabolites of retinoic acid accumulate in the intestine of vitamin A-deficient rats 3 h after administration of 450 μg of [11,12-3H]retinoic acid. Using new Chromatographic procedures developed for the purification of vitamin A metabolites, a major polar derivative of retinoic acid was isolated from intestine in pure form as its methyl ester and positively identified as 5,8-oxyretinoic acid. © 1979.
