摘要
The electrostatic polarisability of two-component composite media is studied theoretically using the integral equation method. The polarisability is expanded in terms of potential eigenfunctions. This makes possible the separation of the contribution due to the medium structure from the contribution due to the dielectric properties of the components. Methods of solution are discussed, and calculation of eigenmodes of regular structures are presented. The results are applied to the calculations of light absorption spectra of discontinuous thin films of noble metals.
