摘要
A number of Bayesian rules for the determination of sample size for binomial sampling are compared in terms of the accuracy or precision of the resulting parameter estimates. The comparisons indicate that different methods will produce results of comparable precision in spite of some small variations. However, the user should exercise some care in choosing the rule to determine sample size which best suits his criteria and interpretations. Extensions of the procedures for multinomial sampling are also described.
