摘要
We have used the method of interplanetary scintillations (IPS) together with the technique of background deflection analysis (P(D)) to determine the mean angular size and the sky density of scintillating radio sources in the range 2-3 Jy at 81.5 MHz. We find that the radio power from a high proportion of the sources in this range comes from one or two components of angular diameter about 0.7 arcsec. © 1980 Royal Astronomical Society.
