摘要
The non-Hamiltonian nature of global demon dynamics for simulating ensemble averages is explored, demonstrating no need for any symplectic structure, and reducing by one half the number of equations of motion. Trajectory diffusion is not strongly hindered by the coordinate reduction, as indicated by several tests of ergodicity.
