摘要
An analysis of the data from seven families of full-sibs reveals no evidence that the incompatibility genes, S and Z, are linked. In the absence of a knowledge of the parental genotypes it is necessary to adopt a special procedure of classifying the progenies in order to be able to perform tests for linkage. The application of this procedure to situations concerning traits other than selfincompatibility is discussed and a simple crossing-scheme which avoids this problem is given. © 1979 The Genetical Society of Great Britain.
