The following interview of a 33 year old woman with a spinal cord injury includes information about one person's acceptance of her disability; sexual sensations, arousal and orgasm; and relationship issues. It is excerpted from the book, Female Sexuality Following Spinal Cord Injury, which includes in-depth interviews with 19 spinal cord injured women and with professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, psychiatry, physical and vocational rehabilitation, and human sexuality. © 1979 Human Sciences Press.
