摘要
This study is concerned with the effect of various amounts of Sn species in modifying the surface acidic and basic properties of alumina, important in catalytic activity. The decomposition of isopropanol and conversion of cumene were chosen as a measure of the changes to the acidic/basic catalytic sites, and the adsorption of pyridine (measured by IR spectroscopy) to separate out the Bronsted and Lewis acid activity.
