摘要
The advantages of using the dual substituent parameter (DSP) method in preference to the single parameter σ+ scale for the analysis of C-13 substituent chemical shift data are discussed. A graphical representation of the DSP equation is presented. This makes possible a fast, qualitative DSP analysis and indicates the best substituents to use for a good linear free energy correlation. © 1979, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
