摘要
dl-p-Fluorophenylalanine (p-FPA), an analogue of l-phenylalanine, was used for the isolation of mutants impaired in the regulation of phenylalanine biosynthesis. Mutants producing a large quantity of β-phenethyl alcohol and β-phenethyl acetate were isolated from a p-FPA resistant sake-yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Some mutants produced twelve times the amount of β-phenethyl alcohol and three times the amount of β-phenethyl acetate as the wild type. © 1990.
