摘要:
Inelastic neutron scattering experiments on small Fe particles (R = 12 Angstrom) reveal that some part of the magnetic intensity is paramagnetic at 300 K. As T decreases it freezes and develops short range ferromagnetic correlations. It is attributed to spins at the particle surface.
