摘要
A comparative study of intracerebral and surface electrical activity in 25 patients with supratentorial cerebral tumours was carried out by stereoelectroencephalographic exploration. The results of this study confirm established data : intratumoural silence has no equivalent on the scalp ; it can, however, when it is of wide extent, be seen as depression of physiological rhythms. The polyrhythmic activity of the peritumoural cortex is the cause of this influence on the E.E.G. tracing. The spikes collected around the tumour are not usually transmitted to the surface. The notion of synchronization partly takes into account the risks of the inscription of intracerebral activity on the scalp tracing. Consequently, the brief phenomena are less regularly transmitted than the slow phenomena. © 1978 Masson, Paris.
